• Oetiker two ear clamps are especially suited for industrial use and with vibrating equipment. It is a medium pressure clamp designed especially for maintenance and OEM applications. Rubber hose is easily clamped for use with air, fluid, gas, or steam lines. Two ear clamps are best installed when one ear is closed all the way first. The second ear is then closed so that the first ear opens slightly. This builds resilient strength into the clamp in a spring-like action to hold against pressure, vibration, and hose shrinkage due to temperature changes or aging. Clamps are zinc-plated steel for corrosion resistance. Select a clamp size that is nearest to, but always larger than the O.D. of the material to be clamped.
